UI/UX Design-Student Work

GID 304: Experience Design (UX): Music Store Homepage. Spring 2021. Instructor: Nan.

Music Store Homepage is a UX project. Leveraging advanced user study tools such as card-sorting and eye-tracking (utilizing the 3M VAS eye-tracking tool), students embarked on a project to design an engaging homepage for a music store website. By incorporating the card sorting method, they skillfully developed a user-centric information architecture, effectively organizing content on the homepage. Furthermore, the 3M VAS eye-tracking tool played a crucial role in establishing a visually appealing and user-focused graphic hierarchy on the banner ad (hero image), ultimately creating an enhanced user experience tailored to the target audience’s needs and preferences. Presented below are some student work in this course.
