27th Letterform – a new ligature (Bodoni)

The 27th letterform is a typographic practice I participated in during design graduate school. For this poster project, I merged two letters to form a unique typographic ligature and added it as a new member to the 26 alphabets, the “27th” alphabetical symbol. I chose Bodoni as the font for this ligature due to its modern increased stroke contrasts and elegant, curved classic loo. This project showcases my skills in logo design and vector manipulation and my ability to pay close attention to subtle typographic details.
